Great beachfront access and delicious breakfast options. The internet connection was terrible and the parking was awkward.

The location is perfect, right by the beach with a great view. The happy hour at the bar is a nice touch. The room cleanliness could use some improvement; there were hairs on the bathroom surfaces.

The staff is super friendly and super attentive. The breakfast is a buffet of deliciousness with an omelette station that should be a national landmark.
Finding parking is a game of hide and seek.

I loved how this hotel offers easy access to the beach, just a short walk away, and you can also enjoy a nice stroll to the Turtle Rescue place, which is only about 600 meters from the hotel; after a day of exploring, our spacious and clean room with a balcony was the perfect place to relax, and with a swimming pool and a restaurant on-site serving a hearty breakfast, we felt well taken care of all weekend, but there were a few maintenance issues we encountered that could have been addressed better.

A commendable fit for a weekend excursion in South Padre Island with value for money. Breakfast was delicious.

The room was spacious and had an incredible view. The temperature control was effective, keeping everything comfortable. the sofa was too low and lacked comfort for lounging. It had a slight musty smell upon entering. The noise level was pleasantly quiet, allowing for a restful stay. The cleaning staff could improve; only basic tasks were done initially. Amenities like soap in the bathroom were limited to small bottles. The balcony door required maintenance, which was addressed promptly. Despite minor issues, the staff's friendliness and helpfulness stood out throughout our visit.

A great beachside experience with direct access and spacious rooms that boast ocean views. Breakfast was a highlight—made-to-order omelets and varied meats. Staff in beach-classy uniforms added charm. cleanliness was a letdown; the restroom had issues, and the noise from the club was intrusive. Management was responsive when problems arose, which was appreciated. The gym hours could use an upgrade, and the restaurant's early closure left us wanting more. With attention to detail, this place could be exceptional, though I'd think twice about a return given the overall experience.

Great access to both the beach and park! The kids had a blast with daily activities and games set up for them.
It wasn’t pocket change, but worth it for the family fun.

Sand Rose Beach Resort offers a delightful experience with its stunning ocean views and warm hospitality. The breakfast, especially the customizable omelets, was a highlight. Although the beach had some litter, the overall ambiance, especially during sunset and fireworks, created magical memories for my family.

The good thing was that the staff was super friendly and the location was top-notch. We enjoyed the heated pool on a cool day, and having the beach right out the back door was a dream. Plus, the free breakfast was definitely a highlight - those guys can cook! But on the downside, there were some areas that definitely need improvement. The room floors were pretty dirty and sandy, which was a big turn-off. The shower had almost no water pressure and smelled like rotten eggs, yikes! And don't get me started on the pool - it was so dirty that we opted to swim in the ocean instead. The issues with parking were also a hassle, with non-guests taking up all the spots and partying late into the night. It made it difficult for those of us who actually paid to stay there. the Sand Rose has some great perks like the friendly staff and awesome location, but they really need to step up their game when it comes to cleanliness and amenities. If they can address these issues, it could be a much more enjoyable stay.

Explored South Padre Sand Dunes, surfed, and enjoyed the Bright Side Breakfast®. Free amenities and beachfront location were fab. Tried out the fitness center and bar too.
Loved guessing where to park and dealing with rude staff about it.

We hit up Schlitterbahn Waterpark and rode the wildest slides, then checked out the Port Isabel Lighthouse & Museum – so much history! Plus, the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge was wild! We were living our best life exploring all these spots. Total teen paradise!
We wished the hotel had a happening nightclub for late-night shenanigans. That would've taken our vacay to the next level!

The room was a disaster—foul odor from the carpet, peeling paint in the tub, and the hot water was practically boiling. The sink handle was loose too, making everything a hassle. Definitely not the relaxing getaway we hoped for.

Location: unbeatable. Right on the beach, across from the Nature Preserve. Ideal for birdwatching and sunset lovers. Room: spacious and comfortable. Ocean view was breathtaking. Housekeeping worked hard, though there were times when towels weren't readily available. Staff: exceptional. Robert, Ernie, and the front desk team exhibited efficiency and friendliness. Communication via text was a nice touch. the manager's follow-up could improve. Dining: breakfast was a highlight, especially the made-to-order omelettes, though it's wise to tip in cash if you want a smile from the omelet station staff. Parking was awkward, and unexpected fees for beach seating surprised me. Occasional odor in the halls was distracting. Would return, but with caution during peak times.

Comfortable room, amazing breakfast with a large selection including fresh waffles and omelettes, which made each morning a delight as we were able to enjoy great food before heading out to explore.
No problems at all.

The location of the hotel was spot, on, right by the beach and close to the Birding & Nature Center—perfect for nature lovers. The attentive staff, especially the hardworking housekeeping and dining service teams, made the stay enjoyable. The room size was impressive, especially the ocean, facing king, size rooms, and the room safe provided added security for valuables.

We enjoyed a thrilling day at the Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark, marveled at the historic charm of Port Isabel Lighthouse & Museum, and immersed ourselves in the natural beauty of Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge.
My wife says that the resort could improve by offering more kid-friendly activities.

The location of La Quinta Inn & Suites South Padre Beach was ideal for visiting South Padre Island, and the customer service agents pleasantly surprised me with their friendly assistance. The free Bright Side Breakfast provided by the friendly staff was a great start to each day.
Rude treatment by staff.

Beach access and balcony views were breathtaking, perfect for a romantic escape.
We had issues with the room selection as the partial view turned out to be obstructed by trees. The hard beds were a letdown.

I had a wonderful time at the beach resort. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the convenience of the on-site amenities and the happy hour with delicious food for the kids. I'll recommend this hotel.

I felt like I was on a Cancun resort with the music, food, and lounge area. The hotel was clean, and the staff worked hard to maintain it. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and a beautiful patio and swimming pool. The restaurant bar had delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and the breakfast included a variety of options. The added bonus of fireworks was a cherry on top!
Water pressure in the shower was the worst I've ever experienced.
